Tennis is a great social game and LFC Tennis is pleased to once again offer many social opportunities for play. This summer we plan to offer a Ladies Guest Day, Woods and Whites Mixer, Margarita Mixers, and the Men’s & Women’s Tennis Classic. Dates of these events can be found on the LFC Calendar.

The Junior Team is an integral part of summer tennis at LFC. With an "everyone plays" philosophy, the goal of the program is to provide opportunity for all of our young tennis players to experience the fun of match play. Every Friday, team players will play in matches against other clubs or in intraclub and exhibition matches. How to Join:
Registration for the team is done through eSoft. The team fee includes a team dri-fit shirt, on court coaching during matches, and an end of the season pizza party. Weekly emails will be sent out to determine junior availability as well as time and locations of matches for the week. There is a Junior conference tournament at the end of the regular season that all junior team members are eligible to participate in.
The LFC offers its members the opportunity to schedule private and semi-private tennis lessons with Director of Tennis, Todd Fisher, and his staff.

The LFC is pleased to announce that Todd Fisher will be returning as our Director of Tennis. The 2019 summer tennis season will mark Todd’s 9th summer as the Director of Tennis at LFC. Todd has been teaching tennis in the area for 13 years, working with all types of players from nationally ranked juniors to beginner adults. He has worked in both small country club settings as well as commercial tennis facilities, such as the La Grange Country Club, the Cress Creek Country Club, and the Hinsdale Racquet Club.
Todd graduated from Ferris State University earning a degree in marketing with a specialization in Professional Tennis Management.
Intro to Tennis: Player has had little or no previous play or instruction. This player will learn basic strokes, rules and scoring of the game.
"C" Level: Equivalent to USTA rating of 2.5. Player has the ability to sustain a short rally at a slow pace. Player is working on ball placement and court coverage.
"B" Level: Equivalent to USTA rating of 3.0. Player has stroke dependability and moderate shots. Player is working on depth, directional control and power.
“A” Level: Equivalent to USTA rating of 3.5 and higher. Player has the ability to control both forehand and backhand shots, use of lobs, overheads and volleys. Player has begun to use pace and spin.
Open to all levels. This class will focus on giving players a high-energy workout while playing tennis.
Adult Drop-In-Punch Card
Drop-In-Punch Cards are good for use at all adult drill offerings! The punch cards are good for use starting Memorial Day and expire for use on Labor Day. LFC offers both 10-packs and 5-packs of punch cards and they can be purchased on eSoft. To guarantee your spot in a drill using a punch card, you’ll need to email Todd at firstname.lastname@example.org with 24 hours notice. These cards can be used for any adult drills and are non-refundable. A single card can be shared by multiple adult members in the same household.
