Summer 2011
We have a great summer of tennis
scheduled for summer 2011. From
lessons and drills for children and adults of all ages, to fun social events,
to competitive play, there is something for everyone.
For information on tennis lessons and
drills, please see the information below and check out the tennis registration
material.
For more information or to get involved
in planning this year’s tennis programming, please contact Peggy Sloyan or
Casey Livingston.
Tennis is a terrific way to get involved
with LFC. We look forward to
seeing you on the courts!
LFC is pleased to welcome Todd Fisher as our
new Tennis Director. Todd has been teaching tennis in the area for a
number of years, working with all types of players from nationally ranked
juniors to beginner adults. He has worked in both small country club
settings as well as commercial tennis facilities, such as the LaGrange Country
Club and Hinsdale Racquet Club.
Todd went to school at Ferris State University earning a degree in marketing
with a specialization in Professional Tennis Management. While a student
in the program, Todd was taught his craft by a master professional and current
USPTA president.
The satisfaction of teaching a student something new was what sparked Todd’s
interest in becoming a tennis professional. He believes that each player
learns in a different way, but that having fun playing is the key to unlocking
a players true potential. Tennis is a lifetime sport, so come out and
join Todd on the courts and pick up a fun game you can enjoy for life!
Todd can be contacted directly at lfctennispro@gmail.com.
The LFC offers a wide range of group, private
and semi-private lessons and drills for just about every age and ability level.
